Industry’s First USP Class VI Weir‑Style Diaphragm Valve with Integral Tri-Clamp Connections
Contour BioSolutions introduces the first weir-style diaphragm plastic valve body with integral Tri-Clamp Connections. These components feature one-piece molded construction, providing a smooth internal finish and simplifying validation by reducing the number of product contact materials. Available with EPDM or PTFE diaphragms, our valves are lot traceable, gamma stable, BPE compliant and animal-derived ingredient free.
Unlike other manufacturing or processing scenarios, the bioprocessing and pharmaceutical industries require a high degree of sterility in operations. The manual bonnet’s DIALOCK® SYSTEM offers an ergonomically designed handwheel that can be easily locked in any position over the full operating range. A visual position indicator offers additional information to the operator. To ensure lot traceability, a date code is molded into the valve body. Stainless steel thread inserts are included for applications that require mounting the valve in a fixed position.
The weir-style design provide operations with optimal flow characteristics, minimizes fluid retention and enhances cleanability—lending these valves superior reliability to meet the rigorous demands of modern bioprocessing applications for single-use production systems.
